How to select a suitable gantry crane.

1, Single girder or double girder gantry crane selection
Generally, lifting capacity within 50t, span is less than 35 m, no special use requirements, it's suitable to choose single girder type. If the support leg required to be wide, speed is required higher, or often lifting heavy/long cargoes, it's suitable to choose 
double girder gantry crane.
2, The span and cantilever length
Span is an important factor to influence the gantry crane quality. When choose,under the condition of meeting equipment use condition and conforming to the span 
series standard, should try to reduce the span.
3, The principle of determining wheel tread
(1) can satisfy the portal crane track along the direction of the stability requirements;
(2) the goods size can smoothly through the leg plane steel frame;
(3) pay attention to make wheel tread B and span S into certain proportion relationship, generally take the wheel tread B = (1/41/6) S.
4, Gantry crane spacing size determined
During work,some certain space should be left between the gantry crane outside dimension and the goods/transport vehicles channel,for loading and unloading
 operation. When loading and unloading within span width, should keep above 0.7 m distance between vehicles and crane support leg. Sling should keep above
 0.5m space with transport vehicles when not work. When cargoes cross the support leg, should keep above 0.5 m space.
5, Electrical equipment selection of gantry crane 
It should comply with the general gantry crane with the relevant provisions of the GB/T144061993.
